Patricia Levell
Psychologue, m.a
Mission
To support the emotional wellbeing of indivuduals and the community by helping people to learn, heal, and grow.
Individual Psychotherapy & Group Facilitation
My career in mental health spans over 30 years. I began working in community based mental health working with adults coping with chronic mental health issues where I learned the importance of meeting people where they are, and discovered that regardless of the issues a person is facing, there is a spark within that can be nourished. I later enjoyed the opportunity to offer personal development groups for women before investing full time in my private practice as a psychologist working with adults and adolescents.
Theoretical framework
I have an eclectic approach to therapy drawing most extensively from Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural, Humanistic, Systems, Feminist, and Mindfulness perspectives.
Specialties
In my practice I help clients who are experiencing a wide variety of issues. I have developed a special expertise in working with Trauma (PTSD, Complex PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Grief, Self Esteem, and Relationship issues.
